For this Pairing, we feature two rich white wines and a sleek blend of three reds.
The Viognier is grown for us near Vineland, NJ, whereas the Grüner Veltliner and the red cuvee of Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt and St. Laurent are all estate grown. They will be paired with a dish so awesome that the French and Italians argue over its origin: Braised Lamb Shoulder with White Beans.
You will see this dish prepared while enjoying generous samples of the three wines, noting our reliance on local, Pittstown-raised lamb that will be seared and then braised with vegetables, seasonings, white beans and stock until it is off-the-bone tender. A perfect dish for any lazy day, for any season, starting now.
