We celebrate our vintage 2014 Austrian red varieties with a horizontal tasting of Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Saint Laurent and a cuvee of all three, known here by the name “Matthias”. We will lead off with our flagship white, Grüner Veltliner, to awaken your palate.

– Blaufränkisch – native of Austria
– Saint Laurent – transplant from France 400 years ago, cousin of Pinot Noir
– Zweigelt – hybrid of Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt
– “Matthias” – blend of all three wines above

This is a rare opportunity to taste all three Austrian reds from one vintage, first separately as individual wines and then finally as one. They all express themselves with subtlety and finesse, as we hope they would. Quantities very limited.

The charge for this very special tasting of five wines is $20/person (no split tastings, please).
